After 13 confiscated Jewish driver's licenses from 1938 are found in a German county office, a group of high school students and their teacher investigate the fates of the owners, uncovering stories of loss, survival, and reconciliation.

The film has won 23 festival awards including Best Cinematography at the Accolade Competition.
